Boys & Girls Clubs of America In every community, boys and girls are left to find their own recreation and companionship in the streets. An increasing number of children are at home with no adult care or supervision. Young people need to know that someone cares about them. Club programs and services promote and enhance the development of boys and girls by instilling a sense of competence, usefulness, belonging and influence. Boys & Girls Clubs are a safe place to learn and grow.
Breathing for Moms is active meditation. The class helps moms heal from the emotional and physical stress of pregnancy and birth and protects them from post partum depression. It also helps moms reconnect with themselves and recognize stressors before they become longer term problems. The class was created by Dr. Belisa Vranich who is a clinical psychologist, author, and presenter with a dynamic and innovative approach to modern issues.
Bullying.org's purpose is to prevent bullying in our society through education and awareness. We provide programs and resources to individuals, families, educational institutions and organizations to help people deal effectively with the act of bullying and its long-lasting negative consequences.

The National Domestic Violence Hotline provides 24-hour support through advocacy, safety planning, resources and hope to everyone affected by domestic violence. It was established in 1996 as a component of the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) passed by Congress. The Hotline is a nonprofit organization that provides crisis intervention, information and referral to victims of domestic violence, perpetrators, friends and families. The Hotline answers a variety of calls and is a resource for domestic violence advocates government officials, law enforcement agencies and the general public.

Rory Miller has served for seventeen years in corrections as an officer and sergeant working maximum security, booking and mental health; leading a tactical team; and teaching subjects ranging from Defensive Tactics and Use of Force to First Aid and Crisis Communications with the Mentally Ill. For fourteen months he was an advisor to the Iraqi Corrections System working in Baghdad and Kurdish Sulaymaniyah. Somewhere in the midst of that he received a BS degree in Psychology; served in the National Guard as a Combat Medic (91A/B); earned college varsities in judo and fencing and received a mokuroku in jujutsu. He has drunk chichu with reformed cannibals and 18-year-old scotch with generals...and loves long sword fights on the beach. Rory is the author of Facing Violence and Meditations on Violence.
